The Gilmour Spray Doc 2-gallon wheel pump sprayer pressurizes as you walk or roll it back and forth. This “point-and-shoot” sprayer requires no hand pumping or heavy lifting. The unique wheel pump apparatus pressurizes the contents as you push the sprayer back and forth. Use the built-in pressure relief valve to depressurize the sprayer upon completion of your job. The unit has an extra-wide 4-1/4-inch mouth opening for quick filling, an easy-to-clean filter, and a drain at the bottom of the unit. So I waited 3 months for the spray guy to come do my small spray job here at the over 55+ community! I would rather do it MYSELF but could not carry or pump a handheld sprayer nor get myself into and out of a “backpack” sprayer. So why don’t “they” put the silly thing on wheels! It occurred to me to go on the Internet just to see if some enterprising company had done just that. And there it WAS!!!! Couldn’t wait to get it. And it was affordable and so easy to use (it pressurizes itself as it rolls), clean up and store. AND great exercise instead of sitting to watch for the spray guy. Even took it to the ladies coffee for show and tell!
5 Stars Best sprayer I’ve ever owned!
I own the 4 Gal. version of this sprayer, and it is awesome! We live on a 200 acre ranch in South Texas, and I use this all over the place! In fact, I keep Round-Up solution in it at all times. I mix up about 3 gal. at a time and never empty the tank because it never needs cleaning and is incapable of clogging. The only time it has ever clogged is when the tip of the nozzle has some dried solution on it. A quick rinse and it is as good as new. Our “yard” around the house is about 9,000 sq. ft. of carpet grass with lots of landscaping and beds. The sprayer primes up by pushing or pulling it for about 10 to 12 feet or more…plenty of time for me to drag it to the flower beds from my garage. As the spray is used, it naturally slows and dribbles down from the original fine spray, but all you have to do is pull it as you spray / walk around the beds, sometimes rolling it back and forth at arms length a few times to get it re-primed up for more spray. Beats the heck out of ANY sprayer I have ever lugged by hand or on a shoulder strap. If it breaks for any reason, I’m definately getting another one! I’m a 60 year old fat gal, so it won’t get any easier for me! My only complaint it that I wish the wand was about 6″ longer. Haven’t tried the telescoping wand that comes as an extra purchase, but it’s a good price ($8.00 or so) so I might.

Worked first time. When I refilled it, would not spray. Returned for refund but after 2 months it has yet to be credited. I wish it would have worked because it would have saved a lot of time.

The wheel pump sprayer saves me the back ache of carrying around several gallons of solution. It saves much time and effort in pumping. I have used one for about a year now with no problems.

I good idea. Worked fine for 3 months and then pressure apray valve broke. No one available to repair.

4 Stars Potlifter, helps a good bit
This item does indeed do what it says with lifting heavy pots. It could use a bit more stabilization with the super large items but in general does exactly what it says. We’ve moved several huge rocks for the garden bed borders and also a big magnolia tree in pot and it did great. I’d recommend it. Easy to use, easy to store.
5 Stars Great Idea
We have used this same idea many times to lift and move objects, using rope or whatever happened to be handy. Once we even used dog leashes to lift a piano up/over a large doorstop. We decided to try this product and it works very well. We have a large garden that is terraced up a fairly steep hill and we are constantly adding, changing, moving things around. Pots, plants, bags of dirt, bags of rock/sand etc you name it. The pot lifter has come in pretty handy I must say. The price seemed a little high at first, however since we bought it and have used it so much it now seems worth it. Stairs are a little tricky if you are carrying anything very heavy, but once you get into sink with it and each other it works perfect.

I find this kneeler perfect for gardening especially if you have a bad back. I put all my pressure on the handles to pull my self up. Therefore I feel no pain in my back, legs or knees.
I love it.

5 Stars Great for the ‘mature’ gardener!
We purchased this for my 90 year young uncle, who still gardens and tends his flower beds. It’s great for those of us who can still get down, but have difficulty ‘getting up’. The Kneeler is sturdy, safe, and light-weight, and is perfect for us ‘mature’ gardeners. The smooth metal ‘handles’ are at the right ergonomic height for the arms to help lift the body back to a standing position without falling over on your nose. The seat is just right for resting from a morning’s planting or weed-pulling. Highly recommended.

The Ames Reel Easy deck hose reel serves up some surprising new features–some good, some bad, depending on your needs. The reel’s sturdy all-poly box provides excellent, long-lasting protection for your hose during the winter months and can also serve as an outdoor tabletop in the summer. In addition, the innovative auto-track hose guide is a miracle invention: as you turn the hand crank, the hose feeds through a guide that moves along a riveted track, providing tangle-free, even winding. On the other hand, some might find the box design limiting: you can’t overwind the reel as you can with many other models, so you must be sure to use the right-size hose (the Reel Easy’s capacity is supposedly a lengthy 200 feet, but it varies according to hose thickness). Another design limitation is that the box is not transportable once the hose is attached–for that, get one of Reel Easy’s wheeled versions. Also, a built-in footrest at the bottom of the box fits only small feet at best (though it does provide some leverage when dispensing the hose), and the hand crank is back-strainingly low (about 1 foot off the ground at its lowest point), so you’ll need to prop the box atop something else. In terms of pull-out and put-away convenience, however, this is one of the best reels available to homeowners who use hose frequently.

4 Stars Good quality, Great service
I’ve had this hose reel for about 6 years. It has been outside the whole time - the plastic has faded, but not split or become brittle.
The Amazon review details quite fairly the pros and cons of this model, for example the handle is quite low - but the gearing is chain driven, making it reliable and easy to turn.
Last Summer I decided to finally take it apart, clean out all the dirt and bug cocoons, and grease the sprocket. I discovered that after 6 winters, the hose assembly finally sprung a leak.
I went online to the Ames website, found the part, and ordered it. Funny, it didn’t ask for a credit card???. I called them up - this items wears out from normal use, so they replace them free! Kind of the opposite philosophy of most companies.
This simple act of service is what make me a repeat customer.
2 Stars Needed to fix it right out of the box
The Auto Track Guide was separated into two pieces right out of the box. I had to shave factory plastic filaments away from the connector tabs to get it to secure itself. Also, I had to bend the connector tabs out a bit to get them to lock. I pinched my fingers bloody doing it. Then I turned on the hose and found that the hose leading from the spicket was leaking at the Reel connection. I tried to tighten the hose clamp but it was stripped. After going to the hardware store and buying a new clamp the Reel works fine; but I don’t like buying something brand new and having to fix it upon arrival. The Reel has a smooth operation, that’s why I’m not giving it my worst rating.

This is a sturdy, heavy duty hose reel that
has proved to be a bit cumbersome for my wife
to operate when she waters our small garden.
The reel is probably more suitable for larger
lawns and watering needs. For our modest needs,
I would have been better off with another
Ames ‘bench’ reel, which has worked well for us
in the past.
Also, the water assembly inside the reel started
leaking the first time I used the reel, so I had
to disassemble the reel to get at the hard-to-access
assembly and fix the leak.
Again, this is a strong
reel, made of sturdy plastic and is strong enough to
sit on or store bags of mulch, etc. on the top.

I have been using Ames products for about 20 years. I have always had excellent service from the products and superior service from the Ames service people. I searched for this product on line because I could not find it in any of the stores in my area. I know it will serve me well for many years to come. I will continue to use Ames products as long as they continue to build excellent products and stand behind them the way that they do.

This is a good product that does what it promises: it extends your reach in trimming bushes and weeds. You can reach about five or six feet beyond your arm’s length.
That’s the good news. The bad news: even though the trimmer is relatively light, you are still holding six or seven pounds at the end of a pole. That’s a fair amount of leveraged weight.
After twenty or thirty minutes of use, I was exhausted. And for days afterward my shoulders and back ached. I was forced to stop using the trimmer and return it to Amazon (which took it back, no questions asked–excellent customer service.)
I’d like to see a designer come up with a trimmer that puts much more of the weight at the lower end of this device. Don’t know if it is possible, but I do know that this unit as it is sold right now is too heavy for comfort.

The trimmer is just what I’m looking for to reach higher areas in my yard. Because it is a B&D 18 volt, the compatibility of using other tools is a great idea. The only negative comment I have is it’s weight. It is pretty heavy. Otherwise, it is fine. The tilting head is a great idea.

Purchased this product a little over a month ago and so far it has been very good. The elastic on the cover is very durable. I own a 42″ deck Craftsman tractor and I leave it outside in the elements. It covers the entire tractor with room for a larger tractor. The water repellent feature works and it keeps my tractor clean. I give the product 5 stars but remember I recently purchased the product. We purchased this cover so that we could keep the riding mower outside for the season. We wanted to protect the mower from the rain and sun. While some rain did get through the cover…we are very happy with our purchase. Cover fits great and very easy for one person to put on mower.

For many years I stored my riding mower in a barn that also seemed to house many birds. They left their mark on the poor mower over the years, and cleaning it up every spring was never something I looked forward to. This simple cover will make storing and maintaining my mower much easier. I read reviews of others who were not satisfied with this cover’s outdoor performance. Since I plan to continue storing my mower indoors, I can’t comment on that aspect. I am thrilled to have this new little piece of protection, though, and it fits my 42″ deck and mower comfortably. It is also easy to put on and take off. I recommend it if you are looking for good value for your money!
2 Stars Nice Cover But It Doesn’t Last
The elastic cord hemmed in the bottom makes this cover fit snugly on my riding mower. I have also found it to be quite waterproof.
That said I must add that I have to replace it every year. I have to leave my mower in a place where it gets the sun for half of every day, and it gets every drop of our 32 inch annual rainfall. After about a year it begins to actually shred and fall apart. I always keep a new one in reserve for when this happens. A bit expensive, but I guess it’s better than my mower standing nude in the sun and rain. I’ve noted that there are other covers on the market that are a higher denier fabric, and that have special coatings. They are higher priced, but I think I will go that route for my next replacement.

I have several lengths of hose as well as multiple end tools, i.e. sprayer, pressure washer, ect., these waterstop connectors really make it easy to swap out different end tools quickly. Just be aware of the pressure backwash from the downstream side when disconnecting a length of hose out of a string!
